Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to provide proper guest service through the preparation and delivery of quality food.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following are duties that are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required or assigned.

• Prepare the banquet before the guests arrive
• Set tables, lay table linens, chairs, silver wares, center pieces, glassware
• Fill water or coffee to glasses and cups
• Responsible for providing a quality banquet experience to guest
• Tending to guest during the meal
• Serve meals to the tables
• Responsible for filling water glasses and other beverages
• Tend to guest needs and request as necessary
• Possess working knowledge of what is being served
• Responsible for keeping and clearing the table and submitting dishes to the kitchen dishwasher
• Responsible for cleaning and clearing the table and chairs, and returning these items to its respective storage rooms or places
• Must maintain high level of appearance and appropriate hygiene when working in and around food preparation areas

Minimum Qualifications:


• Able to lift objects or items weighing 25lbs using proper technique
• Able to stoop, bend and climb
• High school level preferred
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Basic knowledge of written and oral instruction
• Valid driver’s license
